Back to basics here people. First assignment of the year was to design and illustrate a couple of covers for some kid's activity books. They wanted (obviously) all type. In doing my extensive research, like I do in all of my projects, I had to go back to my roots, and remember all 26 letters of the American alphabet. And when you take into account that each letter has an upper
and a lower case version, that's 52 letters! (Had to dabble in a little math there as well.) Yes, this was mentally taxing, but staying up late a couple of nights studying ancient documents, and finding accurate images of almost all 52 letters, was able to complete the assignment to the satisfaction of my client. I anticipate getting paid handsomely for this.
